AMAZING ARTS TRADITION INDONESIA WOMEN


Indonesian women  is the most  beautiful women in the world, The lives of Indonesian women have evolved from ancient times until well into the era globalization. In the days colonialism Indonesian women life is very limited motion in people’s lives. In colonial times some Indonesian women struggle over a woman’s life that could play a role in society, also known as the emancipation of women. One of example is Ra Kartini who  struggle for emancipation of women, at that time the school remained closed for women. Only small a number of women from the nobility, such as Ra Kartini, who can enjoy education.

Indonesia women now in era globalization can adjust its role in society equal with man. At this time has many important roles Indonesian women that we see in society. But still could Indonesian Woman with emancipation to keep the tradition of ancestral culture as Indonesian woman. The fact of each region in Indonesia has a cultural tradition of Indonesian women’s inheritance from ancestor will be discuss today.
                                               
* BATAK WOMEN WEAVING TRADITION

Currently ulos batak weaving tradition is almost extinct due to lack of number of weavers. In the past every woman from batak knows and can do how to make batak weaving, the weaver today no longer in most Batak village, most of young woman do not want to learn to weave because it is hard and complicated work. In addition, the low status of weavers considered or only the work done by the poor. Income from the weaving undervalued and the market will be decreasing, basically older weavers really want to share that knowledge can be passed on the tradition of weaving.
Revitalization can be done by foster pride in the culture and skills and capacity of art. Plus educate about the culture that the young women are eager to continue and the integrated activities to support the revitalization. Who will continue the tradition if nit the nation itself and the young people.

*MANDI BALIAU WOMEN TRADITION

Mandi Baliau or Baliau bath is tradition Singkil women in Aceh. The art tradition women Mandi baliau until now still remains alive and thriving in the culture of womanhood in the South west coast of Aceh ( NAD ), including welcoming the fasting of Ramadhan. For most of women from Singkil, Aceh Singkil, Baliau bath to cleanse themselves entering the month of Ramadhan is an inseparable part of a series intended to run the day while fasting. Many women who claim less confident if not do Baliau bath.


LONG EARS DAYAK WOMEN TRADITION

According to its origins hundreds of years ago, the culture long ears not only do with women, men also have an elongate ears. And the ears elongate only nobility Dayak Kalimantan. While the current generation has no one  wants to continue this arts tradition Indonesia Dayak women, required special attention from indigenous stakeholders and government  agencies to preserved this tradition from extinction.



TRADITION KEBAYA JAVANESE WOMEN

Tradition Javanese women to use Kebaya as traditional dress already done since long time ago, of course most people especially people of Indonesia all familiar with the term Kebaya. The Javanese women tradition to wearing Kebaya in all kind of event, Kebaya is women’s clothing ancient Java era where modernization has not entered Indonesia. At that time, the Kebaya wear everyday for Javanese women. Kebaya combained with Batik cloth or jarik and jarik is tied tightly with benting ( stagen ) How to bind stagen must be such that fast and neat.

Until now art tradition Indonesian women from java to wear Kebaya still survive although not wear every time or every day. For now Javanese Kebaya dominated by modern Kebaya that combines traditional element. Now Javanese kebaya collection always used for official events pretentious , wedding or momentum. Generally some time wearing by Indonesian women.
Lucky us still some arts tradition Indonesia women survive in globalization and modernization times where many cultural shift in this times.
