Indonesian culture running overtime by time  with metamorphosed since animism or megalithic belief and kingdom era and religion belief. The culture of Indonesia has been shaped by long interaction between original indigenous custom and multiple foreign influences. The foreign people  come to Indonesia .They are come from India ,tionghoa , Gujarat and Persia. some Indonesian  culture type increase at some place.. Indonesia one of country in Southeast Asia. 

Archipelago country Which is from Sabang (ACEH) until  .Marauke (Papua),with 5 big island and some smallest island that spread around. The beautiful Indonesia has so many arts and culture. The diversity of culture with citizenry spread around the island not become separate or discrete, fact  Indonesia culture always hold slogan or motto Even different We are still  one coalescence ( Walau berbeda beda kita tetap satu juga ).

That’s why Indonesian has one unitary language of Indonesian Language. Because every each province in Indonesia have different  language, From Sabang ( Aceh ) until  Marauke (Papua ).With national reconciliation make all the people in Indonesia can live together, respect each other, although we are different culture ,religion, background, different skin. We are the one in one flag of Indonesia. 

In different kind of culture make Indonesia become rich  with exotic arts and culture which is make foreign people come to see Indonesia. Actually culture in Indonesia pass through  lengthy process.

History of Indonesia from Kingdom era when the people still hold  Megalithic belief  system and animism which is most all the people in Indonesia before worship stone, three  or ancestor worship . They believe about power of spirit. or soul. We know this era with prehistoric of Indonesia. Until come some foreign people to Indonesia. At the first time initially they come for trading or barter with local people Indonesia, they are mingling  with  local Indonesian people, with the time goes by created culture in Kingdom era.

After that appear Kingdom Hindu and Buddha and Islam to bring inside new belief or reliance in Indonesia, with amazing arts and culture  Kingdom Tarumanenggara, Kutai, Sriwijaya Majapahit..We still can enjoy and watch the heritage in Borobudur ,Prambanan, and Temple dieng at Java.

Civilization culture of Indonesia increases little by little  with several Islam kingdom in Indonesia. In Java we know Wali Songo. That spread of Islam religion. The people much more dignity and religious .In some place also have hindu and budha religion, In This era change from the animism megalithic become belief in God with religion. Running over time the fact Indonesian culture become diverse, and Indonesian people can evolve until the times of colonials come.

The colonial of Netherlands ,Portuguese  and Japanese  come to Indonesia created some war at every place in Indonesia until 1945 Indonesian get Independence, and try to build again this country. Time after time change Indonesian become under development Country., during that time, The culture of Indonesian still survive, even there is some place already merge with others country.  But The fact Indonesia culture at other side still keep and hold with origin , the traditional dance ,ceremonial adat (custom),wedding ceremonial,arts Theater ,arts of music culture..All still always conserved.

Time pass by and period changes .In Modern globalization era, there is so many western culture goes in Indonesia. Unfortunately some young people now to much idolized western culture. Ironic fact Indonesian culture right. At the same time foreign people learn the exotic arts and culture of Indonesia, as we can see many blond people learn how to dance  traditional, sing a song traditional music, in Yogyakarta but  some  young Indonesian  people doesn’t know about their arts  and culture. Of Indonesia. That the fact Indonesian Arts culture. The fact is ironic. We should be proud with whatever we have as Indonesia culture. The great nation  is a nation that respects their culture and history .We have to be proud of it.
